Thank you for being part of something bigger than yourself.

I want to tell you about an experience that I had yesterday, and I'm curious if anybody else had the same experience. The attorney general already asked you, but how many people here were at the No King's rally yesterday? So, my family and I started walking from the West Side. My kids were kind of grumbling because they weren't really sure they wanted to go. You know, how it can be. We start walking, and we're all by ourselves. As we keep going down Wabasha, we see a couple of other people walking too, and suddenly we're part of a small group.

Then we get to the Wabasha Bridge, and we see hundreds of people coming up that bridge with flags and bullhorns, cheering, and suddenly we're part of a bigger group, and then we get to the capital, and we're part of over 100,000 people coming together and demanding the kind of change we need in our country.

And guess what? That is exactly what happens in the political process.

Some of you are probably here for the very first time. How many of you are first time delegates? Thank you so much. Give yourselves a round of applause. Thank you for being here. And you probably thought to yourself, that first time when you came out to caucus, you felt kind of alone. You came by yourself. You didn't know what it was like. Or maybe still feeling a little bit alone, right? These processes are not intuitive. But now you are part of this group. And guess what? This isn't the only convention that's happening. There are dozens of conventions happening in our state, hundreds of conventions all over the country, and you are coming together with millions of people who are going to take our state back and take our country back. So thank you for being part of it.
